‘1 Night, 2 Days’ Prepares Surprise for New Members''

The new season of KBS2’s 1 Night, 2 Days finally set sail in Incheon.

On February 24, the master plan for the first episode of the new 1 Night, 2 Days unfolded across Seoul and Incheon. The confirmed members of the new season are the original members Uhm Tae Woong, Lee Su Geun and Kim Jong Min, and the new members Kim Seung Woo, Sung Si Kyung, Cha Tae Hyun and Ju Won. The three original members gathered in Incheon. The other four members, however, were met with a pleasant (?) surprise before they even tried to get to the KBS building in Yeoido, where they thought they were supposed to be headed for the opening shoot.

The producers ambushed the four members at their homes to have them get a feel of what 1 Night, 2 Days is all about. An official from the show said, “The night before, we told the members that we would shoot the opening in front of the KBS main building, and so they went to bed early. But we ambushed them at their homes in the morning. The members were really taken aback, and we were able to catch their real daily lives on tape.”

Uhm Tae Woong also went through a similar surprise when he first joined the team, even revealing himself topless in front of the camera when everyone suddenly stormed into his home.

While the original three members moved to the real meeting point, they showed their anticipation for the new season. An official said, “The shoot is going well. You’ll be able to watch a more interesting and tense 1 Night, 2 Days with the new big brother Kim Seung Woo and the youngest member Ju Won from Ojakgyo Brothers, so please look forward to it.”

Ju Won is especially getting through everything in a blur because he joined 1 Night, 2 Days as soon as KBS2’s Ojakgyo Brothers came to a close, and soon after that started shooting for the KBS2 drama Bridal Mask. A rep from Ju Won’s agency stated, “Like Uhm Tae Woong overcame his variety phobia, Ju Won, who is from the same agency, will be able to showcase an unexpected bit of variety skill.”

The specific location of the first shoot for 1 Night, 2 Days was kept under wraps, so you’ll be able to find out more about the new version of the show through the first episode to be aired on March 4.
