MIB’s Kangnam, After School’s Lizzy, KOYOTE’s Kim Jong Min and duo
group HOMME (Changmin & Lee Hyun) join KBS2 new show for a project
to revive trot called “Heir”.
On the 14th, a KBS rep said that the
5 singers will take part in the pilot of “Heir” as Road MCs that meet
up with possible successors of trot to interview, share and empathize
with them in songs.
“Heir” is an audition program that aims to
promote the genre of trot with couple Jang Yoonjung and Do Kyunghwan as
MCs. Voting consists of 97 audience members, Choi Bulam, Ju Hyunmi and 1
more trot expert. The first recording took place on the 13th.
Kangnam,
Lizzy, Kim Jongmin and Homme’s role is to personally meet up with the
contestants from wherever they are in the nation. The reason behind
Kangnam’s casting is because he can sing and do variety.
Heir will start broadcast late June or early July.
