KOYOTE , THE LONGEST -SERVING MIXED GROUP in Korea COMEBACK WITH WISH 12 JULY 2023

"Shinji and Baekga are active until their 60th birthday. There will be 17 years left," says Koyote in his "25th anniversary of debut" song.

Koyote, the longest-serving mixed group in Korea, has announced its commitment to remain active until 2050 when members Shinji and Baekga turn 60. On the 12th, a showcase commemorating the release of Koyote's new song 'Wind' was held at Ilji Art Hall in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The members unveiled the stage for the first time in front of reporters, with Baekga feeling relieved but Shinji feeling nervous.

Koyote expressed his feelings about celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut, which he felt was more meaningful to him than the 25th anniversary. He wanted to choose a Koyote-like song to represent the group's growth and passing time together. Shinji expressed gratitude for the support and strength given by many people during their 25 years together.

The members showed point choreography in 'Wind' and described it as a 'fan dance.' Kim Jong-min revealed that he was trying to show his face on TikTok as a strategy for targeting the MZ generation. He mentioned Wii as a junior he wanted to ask for a challenge and said that his activities do not overlap with the juniors.

Kim Jong-min also revealed that young people today remember Koyote as 'our dream' and that they have memories of the song 'Our Dream'. They appeal to them as their dreams of sharing memories of that time.

Previously, Koyote expressed his greed for the dinner show, saying that the year Kim Jong-min turns 60, he will celebrate the 40th anniversary of his debut. When asked about the progress, Kim Jong-min said that the most important thing is health, so his younger siblings are taking good care of it.

When asked about the driving force and health care secrets that have been going on for 25 years, Baekga said that something like that happened between the members. His love for the members grew, and he is serious about his fitness and health. He has been trying to do cardio and strength training since January of last year, which not only improves his body but also helps him mentally.

In this new song, Kim Jong-min's singing ability has improved significantly, drawing attention. He watched a lot of vocal lessons on YouTube and asked a friend who sang ballads among his co-workers to adjust his vocal range. In response, Shinji expressed surprise, saying that it changes dramatically after you tell me for a while, and Kim Jong-min emphasized that you have to put it down and learn."

Koyote has announced plans to remain active for another 17 years, extending their collaboration with Kim Jong-min until 2050. The group will celebrate their 60th birthday, which coincides with Kim Jong-min's 40th birthday, and will continue to perform together for 17 years.

Koyote's new song, 'Wind,' features the slogan "Let's make the most Koyote-like music," an electronic dance song with a powerful and cool sound. The group, which returned after 8 months since their summer song 'GO' in 2022, has gained popularity in the music industry and is expected to continue presenting their music through music broadcasts, festivals, and solo concerts.

The song, released on the 12th, is available on various music sites.
