Yoon Shi Yoon Receives Gift From Kim Jong Min On The Set Of “Psychopath Diary”
The “2 Days & 1 Night” brotherhood lives on!
On December 10, Yoon Shi Yoon shared photos of a coffee truck sent to the set of tvN’s “Psychopath Diary” by Kim Jong Min.
Yoon Shi Yoon currently stars in the drama as lead Yoon Dong Shik. He began with the hashtag, “Unchanging friendship.” He added, “Dong Shik and ‘Psychopath Diary,’ let’s become a big success with support from Kim Jong Min!”
He concluded with hashtags, “Kim Jong Min,” “our older brother,” “a good older brother,” “Thank you,” “Dong Shik,” “Dong Gu,” “Psychopath Diary,” “Let’s become a big success,” “Good luck,” and “Sending you support.”
Referring to the actor by his former name, Dong Gu, the banner on the left and top of the truck said, “Our Dong Gu, good luck! Let’s be a big success, ‘Psychopath Diary’! From Kim Jong Min.”
The two stars got close after appearing as cast members in season three of “2 Days & 1 Night” which ended its run in March. The beloved variety show returned for its fourth season on December 8 with a new cast.
“Psychopath Diary” airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. KST

“2 Days & 1 Night” is coming back!
Earlier this month, there were reports of the show’s return, but a source from KBS had stated nothing was confirmed. However, on August 29, TV Report shared that a new season with an additional cast directed by producing director (PD) Bang Geul Yi will be airing sometime between late fall to early winter.
Later on the same day, KBS released an official statement confirming the news:
After a long discussion, KBS decided to start planning season four of “2 Days & 1 Night” with the aim of broadcasting in the latter half of this year.
We will go back to our roots and prepare a variety show that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
No details have been set, including the start date of the show and the cast, and we will tell you as soon as we make a decision.
Please give it a lot of interest and love.
“2 Days & 1 Night” has been on an indefinite hiatus since March of this year. The news came after Jung Joon Young’s controversy, and although he was removed from the show, viewers asked for a suspension of the program. Following the announcement of the hiatus of the show, cast members Kim Joon Ho and Cha Tae Hyun were revealed to have gambled together in the past and halted activities due to the gambling controversy. Kim Joon Ho recently resumed activities.

“2 Days & 1 Night” To Go On Indefinite Hiatus Following

“2 Days & 1 Night” will be suspended indefinitely.
On March 15, the program shared the following statement:
KBS “2 Days & 1 Night” will be halting broadcasts and production.
KBS has banned singer Jung Joon Young, who is being investigated for the filming and circulating illegal footage, from all programs. Furthermore, it has been decided that “2 Days & 1 Night” will halt broadcasts and production for the time being. With this, another program will be scheduled to take the “2 Days & 1 Night” time slot starting this week.
In consideration of the viewers who wait for “2 Days & 1 Night” every Sunday evening, we reviewed the option of editing out singer Jung Joon Young from all the footage of the two episodes that have been filmed. However, realizing the severity of the matter, the decision was made to reorganize the program overall.
KBS deeply apologizes for not managing our cast members thoroughly, and we will prepare measures to avoid a recurrence.
Especially as singer Jung Joon Young had a similar controversy three years ago, we feel strong responsibility for simply accepting the decision of the investigative authorities to acquit him and not verifying completely before deciding on his return to the cast.
KBS will prepare fundamental measures including intensified screening of cast members in order for a similar incident to not occur again.

The show said earlier in the week that they would be editing out parts of the show featuring former cast member Jung Joon-young - the singer who allegedly recorded videos of himself having sex with women without their consent.
On Friday, the network announced that they realized editing him out of the show would not be enough.
“We decided to reorganize the whole program after realizing the gravity of the situation,” said KBS.
“We apologize for failing to properly manage the participating [stars] at KBS, and we will be coming up with measures to make sure that the same problems do not arise in the future.”
A different program will air Sunday evenings beginning this weekend.
