The wedding invitation of Kim Jong Min has been revealed.

On March 3rd, Star News exclusively obtained Kim Jong Min’s wedding invitation. The invitation, co-written by Kim and his bride-to-be, reads: "This is our third spring together, and we are getting married. Please bless our future spring days." The message suggests that the couple has been dating for approximately two years.

The invitation also includes a heartfelt quote from world-renowned author Hermann Hesse: "If I ever learn what love is, it is only because of you." Additionally, the couple politely declined floral wreaths.

Notably, Kim Jong Min has been personally sending out ‘video invitations’ to acquaintances he cannot meet in person. During the March 2nd broadcast of KBS 2TV’s 2 Days & 1 Night, he shared, "It feels awkward to just send a text, so I filmed a video invitation out of courtesy. I have to send it to hundreds of people." The broadcast featured him sending invitations to celebrities like Lee Hyo Ri, Solbi, Lee Chan Won, and Eun Ji Won.

Meanwhile, Kim Jong Min will tie the knot with his non-celebrity fiancée, who is 11 years younger than him, on April 20th at The Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. Born in 1990, his fiancée is reportedly a businesswoman.

Kim first announced his wedding date on 2 Days & 1 Night in January and has since shared details of his wedding preparations on various entertainment programs, including Channel A’s These Days' Men's Life – Groom Class.

The wedding will be hosted by top comedians, with Yoo Jae Suk leading the first part of the ceremony, followed by Moon Se Yoon and Jo Se Ho taking charge of the second part.

Kim Jong Min is preparing for his upcoming wedding with the help of his "best friend" Haha on These Days Men's Life - Groom Class (Groom Class).

In the 153rd episode, Kim Jong Min appoints Haha as his groom planner and receives firsthand wedding advice ahead of his big day on April 20th.

On this day, Kim Jong Min brings two drinks and heads out to meet someone, saying, "My wedding is next month, but I don’t know anything about the venue or location. But I’m not worried—I have a reliable groom planner!" He then calls upon his 20-year friend Haha for help.

Kim Jong Min describes Haha as "a passionate romantic and an event master," adding, "He helped me a lot from the very beginning of my relationship to marriage," revealing that Haha played a major role in his upcoming wedding.

Later, Kim Jong Min makes a surprise appearance on a radio show hosted by Haha. While Haha welcomes him, he hesitates and says, "What should I do... Ailee is getting married on the same day, and I already got an invitation." Kim Jong Min, who has yet to send out his own invitations, sighs, "That’s right. JTBC2 will be launching a new type of talk show this coming June 21 at 8 PM KST, titled 'Night of Malicious Comments'.

Shinji stood up for her fellow Koyote members against malicious commenters.

Koyote's Kim Jong Min and Shinji slam speculations about the two dating

Kim Jong Min and Shinji, who have been working together as Koyote for more than 15 years, shut down speculations about the two dating.

The two members guested on the October 6 broadcast of 'Happy Together', and during the show, Shinji expressed her love for her fellow member by saying, "I'm a big fan of Park Bo Gum, but I think Kim Jong Min is better." Kim Jong Min humorously responded, "That's because you've never met Park Bo Gum." Shinji ignored his comment and claimed that she finds Kim Jong Min handsomer than Jung Woo Sung and Song Joong Ki.


The MCs, suspicious of Shinji's statements, questioned whether they had romance involved in their relationship. However, Shinji fired back with, "You can't be doing that with your family." They then asked Kim Jong Min, "Did you ever mistakenly think that Shinji might like you?" He snapped back with "No" as the answer.

Jo Se Ho continued with, "You know, at least once when you are using the same waiting rooms.. Or when she's changing" But Kim Jong Min once again slammed the speculation with a strong denial and said, "I don't look at her." Cool and Koyote to collaborate for new song

Popular K-pop groups from the ‘90s, Cool and Koyote will unite under the name Coolyote and release a new song, local news reported Tuesday.

“Me and Sung-soo (Cool) and Koyote’s Jong-min, Shin Ji and Bbaek Ga will unveil a new song together,” Lee Jae-hoon of trio Cool was quoted as saying in the report. “We are currently recording the song.”

“After unveiling the new song as Coolyote, we will hold a national concert tour, starting with Seoul,” Lee said. “During the concert, we will perform hit numbers from Koyote and Cool and the new song from Coolyote.”

The exact release date is yet to be confirmed. 

Yuri of Cool cannot participate in the upcoming song and concert as she is now pregnant with her second child.

'90s popular trios, Cool and Koyote, to come together as 'Coolyote' for a collab release!

This is some mind blowing stuff here. Imagine two of your favorite groups. Then imagine they're both going to have comebacks at the same time. Then picture both groups joining together for a collaborative release!

That's pretty much what's happening with co-ed groups Cool and Koyote this year. Both groups debuted in the 90s and they're still going strong!

Cool's Lee Jae Hoon told StarNews, "I, along with (Cool's) Kim Sung Soo, and Koyote'sKim Jong Min, Shinji, and Baekga will soon release a new song under the name Coolyote. We are currently recording."
He added, "After Coolyote's new song is released, we'll begin a nationwide tour in the beginning of December starting in Seoul. At our nationwide tour, we'll perform Cool and Koyote's hit songs, the members' solo tracks, and perform Coolyote's new song all in one concert."

You might have noticed that Cool's Yuri was not one of the names listed. That's because she's currently pregnant with her second child.

Koyote's Shinji will be appearing on 'Hidden Singer's Chuseok special, 'Doppelsinger Music Festival', which is to air during the coming Chuseok holiday on September 26 and 27!


During the filming for the upcoming Chueok special episodes, Shinji relayed her frayed nerves, telling the MCs, "I hope my appearance will be canceled because there aren't anyone that sings like me. I'm so nervous." Jun Hyun Moo reassured Shinji, "There are tons of impersonators. It'll be hard to pick [the one who sings most like you]. There is someone whose face even looks like yours."

Fellow Koyote member Kim Jong Min, who appeared on the show alongside Shinji, commented, "Shinji's voice has gotten a lot better than before. I'm worried that she will be eliminated before the original singer." Singer Bbaek Ga chimed in, "I haven't been able to guess correctly so far. I think it will be the same for Shinji." 

At the Koyote members' lack of confidence, Jun Hyun Moo teased, "Maybe you don't have the will to guess correctly." Shinji replied, "These guys may not come to me when taking my side," bringing laughter. 

The Chuseok special of 'Hidden Singer' will play out as music festivals on which the singers from the first three seasons and their impersonators will team up to sing an artist's song.

Kim Jong Min talked about why he had to break up with his girlfriend.
He was a guest on 'Inner Thoughts Salon' on the 15th, and he was asked by the MCs why he never came even though the MCs had called him to the show multiple times. He explained, "My schedule kept getting filled up. But you kept calling me, so I was scared ther was something you might hold against me."

The MCs asked, "Is there something we should know? Are you in a relationship right now?", and he answered, "I'm not dating right now." When the MCs kept asking, he explained, "I broke up with her about a year ago. I wasn't able to handle her. There was one thing that was problematic, and I couldn't protect her from it."

SBS, MBC, CJ E&M, JTBC to block people in South Korea from viewing their YouTube videos

It has been reported that broadcasting companies SBS, MBC, CJ E&M, and JTBC will be blocking people in South Korea from viewing most of their YouTube content.

The reason, of course, has to do with money, although YouTube argues that it has been generous with ad revenue distribution ratio between YouTube and the broadcasting companies at 4.5:5.5 (45% to YouTube) (55% to Broadcasting Companies).

YouTube representatives have stated, "As we are currently negotiating [with the broadcasting companies], it is difficult to reveal any more details." They continued, "At YouTube, the partners receive a larger share of the ad revenue. In order to treat all the partners from all over the world equally, Google (which owns YouTube) shoulders the burden of paying the necessary expenses for service deployment, management, and ad operations."

Even so, Korean broadcasting companies wish to instead publish their material on other alternative Korean platforms such as Naver and DaumKakao. A professor from Kyonggi University's Press and Media Department explained, "The broadcasting companies are migrating because there's higher revenue available for their content. If the broadcasting companies manage the ad operations themselves, then of course their profit increases."

The ban will start sometime in early December. Broadcasting companies will still be uploading videos for everyone outside of Korea; they will simply make them unavailable to watch for their home country.

Cast of '1 Night 2 Days' go rogue after abandoning the producing staff

Fed up with the production staff, the cast of '1 Night 2 Days' took matters into their own hands by abandoning the crew and hightailed it out of filming!

Stuck in a non-air conditioned car with spicy soup for lunch on a day where the temperature soared sky-high, the cast members were already cranky when they were given a mission which, upon successful completion, they could transfer into an air-conditioned vehicle.

Tasked with eating an entire tub of ice cream with only their hands, they were summarily disqualified when the producers pointed out that they still had some ice cream left on their fingers!

This was the final straw for the members, who ran away from the crew in their vehicle despite their pleas via radio! Although the staff car tried to chase them down, the cast members' car were already far away beyond their sight.

Thankfully, they were eventually calmed and soon returned to the set!

'1N2D' resumes filming following halt of KBS labor union strike

‘1N2D' will resume filming earlier than expected on June 6!
PD Yoo Ho Jin stated on the 5th, “[‘1N2D’] will resume filming. All of the six members will attend the filming… The filming will take place near Gyeonggido… We are holding filming last minute. It is not the ideal situation to prepare for ‘1N2D’.”

It has been reported that the KBS Labor Union approved KBS President Gil Hwan Young’s request to suspend the strike for the time being during the board meeting held on the 5th, bringing ‘1N2D’s PD Yoo Ho Jin and CP Seo Soo Min back on board for filming following their participation in the strike and previous suspension of the filming set for June 6-7.

If you're a regular '1 Night 2 Days' watcher, you know that the members have a habit of just taking off their clothes whenever they want.

Well, it obviously got too much, because even their PD begged them to be careful of their skin showing! During the filming, the members had to put water balloons in their pants, and then try to remain as the last member with an intact balloon.

However, as the game went on, the members' pants kept falling down because they had to run away and keep a hold of their heavy pants at the same time. It got so far that Kim Jong Min's sky blue underwear was almost completely revealed. The PD spoke up and said, "Everyone.... Please wear all your clothes properly...", making all the members burst into laughter

On January 22, Koyote is releasing its new mini album '1999.' Today, the group posted a photo of themselves on official Facebook page.

Just like the title of mini album, each member dressed up in retro clothes that remind of late 90s. Bbaekga put on faux wool jean jacket with big glasses on while Shinji put on snow jean skirt with colorful tights.On the other hand, Kim Jong Min put on a very colorful jacket with hair band and permed hair,  completing everything in 90s look.

Pop trio Koyote are the latest group to join in on the Christmas fun with the release of their new single and music video for "After Winter."

The co-ed group is made up of veteran singers Kim Jong Min, Shin Ji, and Bbaek Ga and are known for their own brand of catchy dance-pop songs.
Many fans probably remember their fun and quirky "Hollywood" single from earlier this year, but now the three members are back for a charming holiday track.
"After Winter" was released through the official LOEN MUSIC channel on YouTube on December 6 and features child actress Kal So Won.
LOEN describes the new song as "warm and sensible music" and draw attention to Kal So Won's sweet voice in the video's opening. According to the distributors, Gal So Won said of her performance, "I was very nervous, but it was a good experience with Koyote."
She also added, "I hope people love this song since it is a perfect song for winter."

1N2D : '1 Night 2 Days' apologizes for sending out unedited broadcast of Lee Soo Geun

Viewers watching this week's episode of KBS's '1 Night 2 Days' saw a small caption apologizing for the appearance of cast member Lee Soo Geun, who is currently under heavy fire for illegal gambling.

"This program was recorded on November 8 and 9," the caption stated. Lee Soo Geun's scandal did not break until after that date. "We apologize to the viewers."

Meanwhile, Lee Soo Geun has announced his departure from all of his broadcast roles to take some time to reflect.
