Jang Woo-hyuk Demands Million Won in Pocket Money from Production Team

The episode of KBS 2TV's "Happy Sunday-One Night and Two Days" that aired on Jan. 1 featured a cold-weather operation camp, participated in by members and their close friends, attracting great attention from the viewers.

The mission put to the two five-member teams on that day was to be the first to reach the base camp at Gyeongpodae Beach on the eastern coast in Gangnung. The penalty for the losing team was to go into the water.
The challenge put to the teams at the rest area on the way was to have lunch with the pocket money given to them on the spot. When the production team asked how much money he want to receive, Chang Woo-hyeok, who is the mission runner for the team led by Um Tae-woong, demanded one million won, surprising everybody near him.

The production team gave one million won to him as promised and told them the next challenge, saying, "repare lunch for the members by ordering within five minutes by spending all the money." At that time, Jang Woo-hyuk seemed to be very perplexed as the pocket money could not be returned once received. He rushed to the most expensive Hanwoo (Korean cow) corner, but he could not spend all the money and failed to meet the challenge.

Given another attempt, Jang received one hundred thousand won and he bought Hongsam (red ginseng) drinks worth as much as just one hundred thousand won lest change was necessary, which surprised all the team members. All the members drank the Hongsam drinks as they could not leave for next destination if they did not drink them all according to the mission rule.

Meanwhile, Lee Seon-gyun, the mission runner of the other team, bought potato bread and hot dogs worth five hundred thousand won and his team completed the mission. Their departing scene for the next destination was broadcast, which made the viewers anxious to know the final winner.
