Kim Jong Min, silly and foolish characteristics are "even worst behind camera"

Kim Jong Min explained the "silly and foolish" character set on variety shows.
On the broadcast of KBS2 <Win Win> on the 16th, Kim Jong Min answered the question "Do you act being a fool?"
Kim Jong Min said "To be honest, if there is an intention, it would be different in reality."
Afterwards Lee Su Geun said "I have seen Kim Jong Min even worse than on camera." Thus, breaking the news by saying Kim Jong Min's foolish characteristics are no different than in reality.
Kim Jong Min explained "Speaking on the topic, in reality my carefree and clever image do exists."
He added "But everyone likes my silly image, in contrast, they do not see the other side of me, and so they could distinguish them." and brought laughter to the viewers.

Kim Jong Min recalls a time when he severely injured his head

Kim Jong Min featured as a guest on the October 16th episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘ and shocked viewers by revealing that he once suffered a serious injury to the head.
Kim Jong Min revealed, “I always loved jumping down from things. But then one day, I fell from the place I always used to jump down from for the first time. I fell on my chin. Then I hit the back of my head. My teeth became all broken and and I injured my head. So much blood was pouring out that everyone thought I would die.”
He continued, “I was unconscious for two days but I have no memory of it whatsoever. it feels like I died and came back to life. I can still feel the spot on my scalp. Before my concussion, I was the type to study hard. But afterwards, I lost all determination in life. I was just numb.”
The singer surprised everyone on set with his story and had the audience and MCs remarking how fortunate he was to have recovered well.
Kim Jong Min on the Difference Between Kang Ho Dong and Kim Seung Woo
Kim Jong Min gave his take on how Kang Ho Dong, the head of the first season of 1 Night, 2 Days, and Kim Seung Woo, head of the second season of the show, are different.
The singer talked on the October 16 broadcast of KBS2′s Win Win.
When asked which he felt more comfortable around, Kang Ho Dong or Kim Seung Woo, Kim Jong Min smiled shyly and said, "The question is a bit too much." He showed he was treading carefully due to Kang Ho Dong, since "he has to work when he comes out."
He soon answered, "Before my release from my military duties, Kang Ho Dong was like my friend. Later, though, I came to look up to him. A wall suddenly popped up between us, and he became like my teacher."
About Kim Seung Woo, he said, "He′s almost like a friend."
Lee Su Geun asked whether Kim Seung Woo could become like a teacher, and Kim Jong Min joked, "No chance."
Kim Jong Min continued to praise Kim Seung Woo′s leadership on 1 Night, 2 Days, saying, "He gathers everyone in get-togethers after shoots so that we can talk about the shoot, and he sets up chat rooms in phone messengers."

Kim Jong Min considered leaving ’1 Night 2 Days’ because of anti-fans?
Kim Jong Min discussed the hardship he went through after rejoining ‘1 Night 2 Days‘.
Though Kim Jong Min was one of the biggest names in variety shows before he enlisted for military service, after enlistment he could not keep up with the show. Because of high expectations, many viewers demanded that he be taken off ’1N2D’.
On October 16th’s ‘Win Win‘, he confessed, “I came back to ’1 Night 2 Days’ right after I was discharged from the army, but I disappointed viewers because I couldn’t adapt quickly enough. There was even a petition going around demanding for me to leave.”
He confessed that even though there were many hateful comments directed at him, the comment that hurt him the most was the one that called him “Cancer Jong Min” because he was a “cancer” on the show. Kim Jong Min stated, “I thought to myself, ‘Let’s just be funny once,’ or ‘Let’s just be funny for 10 seconds,’ but it didn’t work. I kept getting depressed. I didn’t want to harm ’1 Night 2 Days’ in any way, so I just stayed home.“

’1N2D’ Choi Jae Hyung PD’s trust in Kim Jong Min even in tough times

Kim Jong Min and ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ PD Choi Jae Hyun showed the trust they have in each other.
Choi Jae Hyung PD appeared as a surprise guest on the October 16th installment of KBS 2TV’s ‘Kim Seung Woo’s Seungseung Jang Gu’ (aka, ‘Win Win’).
Choi PD said, “When ’1 Night 2 Days Season 2′ was being organized, I thought that Kim Jong Min should obviously stay. So I just wrapped it up by texting once ‘Jong Min, you’re gonna stay on, right?’ I did hear that Kim Jong Min was in a slump but I didn’t worry about it because I knew Kim Jong Min as a person for over 10 years.”
However, Choi PD also shared some things Kim Jong Min might improve upon his great feel for variety. Choi PD said, “There are times he just runs by himself too much. He needs to ease off a little to go together with the members.”
Kim Jong Min explained himself remembering when he had returned after serving his military duties and could not adjust to ’1 Night 2 Days’, “I work hard thinking of when I was lacking” and brought laughter to the viewers.

Kim Jong Min mentioned his father for the first time.
Kim Jong Min appeared on the October 16th installment of KBS 2TV’s ‘Kim Seung Woo’s Seungseung Jang Gu’ (aka, ‘Win Win’) with MC’s Kim Seung Woo, Tak Jae Hoon, and Lee Soo Geun.
On the program, Kim Jong Min opened up to say, “My father passed away suddenly when I was 18 years old.”
Kim Jong Min said remembering, “My father was a taxi driver then he wrapped that up to open a sashimi restaurant by the seaside. There was a high tide and he had an accident trying to park. My uncle was in the car too but because the force of the water was so strong they couldn’t get my father out.”
Kim Jong Min shared, “I think that was the time I cried the most in my life. It felt like the whole world was a dream. It felt like a lie. The tears didn’t even come at first. Once I confirmed that it was my father, the tears started to come.”
Kim Jong Min was only 18 years old and he wasn’t the kind of kid that actually listened to his father. Kim Jong Min confessed, “I talked to my father only over the phone the day before he passed away. My father told me to go to school. I used to skip school to go dance and stuff. After my father passed away, I was hurting but on the other hand, I felt that I became more solid.”
But Kim Jong Min also shared, “I also felt victimized because of my father’s death then and I even blamed my father.”

How Kim Jong Min Overcame His Slump on ′1 Night, 2 Days′

Kim Jong Min is an irreplaceable member of KBS2′s 1 Night, 2 Days,
and managed to build for himself a unique character that no one else
can imitate. Even he, however, had his own difficulties and obstacles to
overcome in the past.
The biggest obstacle for him came when he had just joined the show again after being released from his military duties in December 2009. Everyone was looking forward to seeing him fly in variety, but Kim Jong Min himself had been suffering from a slump at the time.
In a recent shoot of KBS2′s Win Win, Kim Jong Min said, "I joined the first season of 1 Night, 2 Days right after I was released from my duties, but the viewers were let down when I wasn′t able to live up to their expectations in my variety skills. Some even signed a petition to have me leave the show."

Kim Jong Min shared that he has a special relationship with Kang Ho Dong.
Kim Jong Min will be appearing as a guest on the October 16th installment of KBS 2TV’s ‘Kim Seung Woo’s Seungseung Jang Gu’ (‘Win Win’).
Recently at the pre-recording of the program, Kim Jong Min said about Kang Ho Dong, “Kang Ho Dong hyung is the variety teacher that I respect and lean on the most. When I was in a slump and was having a hard time, he helped me think positively and had his trust in me. That’s why I was grateful too him and also felt bad”, revealing that Kang Ho Dong was a positive influence on him.
MC Kim Seung Woo asked Kim Jong Min, “Did Kang Ho Dong contact you when you were working on ‘1 Night 2 Days Season 2′?” and Kim Jong Min answered, “I received a text that said I was working hard and doing well. But I called him after that and he didn’t answer and wasn’t able to reach him for a while.”
Kim Jong Min then added, “But a while ago I saw that he was talking to HaHa on the phone and I was angry for a moment” and brought laughter to the studio.

Koyote’s Kim Jong Min to guest on ‘Win Win’

Koyote‘s Kim Jong Min will be appearing as a guest on KBS‘ ‘Win Win‘.
His appearance on the interview show will mark his first time as a solo guest since he debuted with Koyote in 1998.
Kim Jong Min will reveal what it was like growing up in an unconventional household as well as the slump he went through as a cast member of KBS’ ‘1 Night 2 Days‘.
The staff of ‘Win Win’ commented, “We invited ’1N2D’ PD Choi Jae Hyung to get more of an inside look into Kim Jong Min’s real personality. We’re going to reveal Kim Jong Min the human.”
This episode of ‘Win Win’ airs on October 16 KST.

Kim Jong Min, first solo talk show in ‘Win Win’… “Expectations”

Mixed group Koyote member Kim Jong Min displayed a never seen before appearance in Kim Seung Woo’s KBS 2TV ‘Win Win’.
On the 11th of October 11am, according to the information from the crew, Kim Jong Min had a recording on the 11th of October 11am, held in the Seoul Yeouido KBS New Building Public Hall, as a guest on ‘Win Win’.
The crew said “From this show, you can see a different aspect prior to his silly image during variety shows, as well as revealing the true stories and behind the scenes of Kim Jong Min’s life in the entertainment industry”.
Prior to this recent appearance on ‘Win Win’, Kim Jong Min appeared on the ‘HaHa Episode’, which aired on April this year, where he served as a special MC for a day. He was also a secret guest where he appeared on the ‘Uhm Tae Woong Episode’ which aired on November last year. At that time, he displayed his distinctive variety sense, which he added many highlights to the show.
Although Kim Jong Min appeared on many shows, but this was his first time appearing as a solo guest.
In addition, Kim Jong Min has also shown very active performances during KBS2 Sunday Variety Program ‘Happy Sunday – 1 Night 2 Days’.
