Koyote nominated for K-Chart win for the first time in six years
Koyote, one of Korea's longest mixed-gender group, released their first single of 2012, "Repeat The Same Words." The single was an collaboration effort between Koyote and hit producers Brave Brother.
On the January 20th episode of KBS Music Bank, Koyote will go head-to-head with girl group T-ara, who are currently promoting their hit "Lovey Dovey," for the K-Chart win. This is the first time Koyote has been nominated for a weekly music show win since MBC Music Camp on January 15, 2005 for their song "Bingo."
Koyote has risen to be one of the best dance music groups since their debut in 1998 with the track, "Genuine," despite the changes in members over the years, which resulted in Shinji being the only original member.
They have released several hits such as "Heartbroken," "Fashion," "Bimong," "Disco King," "Bingo," "Together" and "Good Good Time."
The group has expressed their trendy colors and unique electronic sound through their new title track "Repeat The Same Words," which is by Brave Brother. Brave Brother is responsible for several hits such as Son Dambi's "Crazy" and "Saturday Night," Brown Eyed Girls' "How," Big Bang's "Last Farewell," SISTAR's "So Cool" and Lee Seunggi's "Losing My Mind."
Who will you be rooting for on KBS Music Bank tonight?
